Order Entry

Incumbent will process order changes received from Customer Service and/or the Customer. This position will be responsible for reviewing work that needs processed each day and completing work to meet deadlines and internal metrics.

Essential Job Functions (=Non-essential tasks):

  • Develop and maintain relationship with Customer Service, Computer Ops, Custom Mailings, Data Services, Production, IT and Sales
  • Process on-going customer changes for periodic mailing orders
  • Process customer renewals and acknowledgments
  • Process bulk mailing as needed
  • Set-up and change images in In-Design
  • Meet defined metrics to verify all order changes are keyed in a timely manner for service and retention
  • Conduct cancels/reprints from production. This should be a priority to get work back to the floor. When fixing these, look at the entire order for changes to keep the order from being cancelled in the future
  • Follow up on any outstanding questions or proofs with customer service to verify these answers are resolved in a timely manner and by the customer deadline.
  • Check quality of work to verify changes are correct for first time run rate and customer satisfaction
  • When processing work look for changes that may need to be mass changed or other process changes to improve procedures
  • When making changes or reviewing orders that production pulls with questions see what can be improved to make the order details clearer for all departments so the same question does not happen in the future

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
