Learn more today! www.bendix.com/careers   Position Summary   This position is responsible for supply chain execution to meet customer delivery expectations, to establish the vision, strategy and organizational structure which will accomplish this objective, responsible to make business level decisions which impact KPI results.  Essential Functions: Annually review the appropriateness of the vision, strategy, goals and objectives Annually conduct a review of the organizational structure to determine current effectiveness Conduct regular coaching sessions with planning supervisors to ensure alignment Communicate regularly progress feedback to the entire team Solicit input from all members opportunities for improvement Identify internal and external risks which threaten supply continuity Actively participate and provide support to escalation situations Prepare presentations and reports as needed for Leadership Support and participate in plant-wide initiatives Influence cross-functional partners and manage expectations of leadership to meet SCE objectives. Conduct frequent SCE-wide reviews to ensure appropriate actions are being taken Manage areas of Customer Service, Distribution and Manufacturing Materials Planning, and Purchasing of the Huntington facility OE, Remanufacturing, Aftermarket Distribution, and Driver Control Module businesses. Responsible for SIOP and Inventory Management. Drive and achieve plant performance goals and objectives including Delivery and Inventory, Performance. Provide clear direction and priorities for department members including the establishment of individual goals and training plans through the performance feedback SDIII process. Create fun, productive and learning environment. Establish daily tools to drive accountability and informed decision-making to the appropriate level. Create boundary-less materials organization to support supplier transitions and assure customer satisfaction through product distribution and manufacturing. Implement Lean Enterprise techniques to improve distribution material flow and efficiencies. Posture people and systems to support new business growth opportunities. Work closely with other Leadership team members in support of Safety, Quality, Operations, HR and Finance objectives. Nourish cooperative, team-based environment. Support inter-site cooperation to achieve BCVS goals and objectives. Support Product Safety Management and execute activities defined in Quality Procedure Q-01-002 Required Skills Knowledge: Strategically inclined Overall systematic view Expert Problem Solving Organizational skills Purchasing and production planning expertise Risk identification and mitigation skill Works well under pressure Team building Demonstrated knowledge of Materials and Supply Chain Management, MRP system, SIOP, JIT, Lean Manufacturing, Direct Line Delivery, and QS9000. Passion for customer satisfaction. Enthusiastic and approachable. Ability to drive change from concept to completion across functional boundaries. Capable of energizing materials organization to world class performance. Six Sigma philosophies engrained in approach to job. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
